O FoundationOne CDX é um teste de diagnóstico in vitro baseado em sequenciamento de nova geração. O teste detecta substituições, inserções e deleções (indels) e alterações no número de cópias (CNAs) em 324 genes. Ele também identifica rearranjos de genes selecionados, bem como assinaturas genômicas, incluindo instabilidade de microssatélites (MSI), carga mutacional tumoral (TMB) e perda de heterozigosidade genômica (LOH) para determinados tipos de tumor, usando o DNA isolado de amostras de tecido de tumor fixado em formalina e embebido em parafina (FFPE).
